Santa-Manna

To most people this yard looks like it could use some help. Well, this yard has transformed itself in the matter of about a month and a half. This picture was taken (today) May 11, 2009.

Around the very end of March I started to collect sea water from our Intercostals water way system here near my house. We call it, “The Santa Rosa Sound.” I can walk from my house to the shore in 7 minutes. However when I collect water, I drive there and get about 5 gallons each trip. The sea grass bed’s, where our native sea grass grows the most, is where I like to collect my water for use on the garden and yard. I have a nice spot where there is not any traffic and I have to walk through the woods to get to it. I enjoy the walk there but, carrying 5 gallons of water back to the truck is a work out.

I use the wet method and I use either rain water or creek water to wash it. (For my yard only and not my garden) I make it as if I were using Dead Sea Salt. If I am going to apply to my garden I filter then boil and wash with filtered water or rain water. I am much safer when it comes to my garden but, my yard gets all the goodies with out all the fuss.

I have done everything except completely cover my yard in sod, to get grass to grow. I have aerated it, thatched it, and fertilized the dickens out of it. I have seeded it more times than I care to think about and I have plugged the living daylights out of each square foot. I have done everything I can do and I did it every year. This year I decided to make some “Santa-Manna” (that is what I call my Santa Rosa Sound ORMUS) and give it a try.

I was shocked at the results. I wasn’t the only one. I have been told by family, friends and my neighbor that my yard is looking really good this year. My neighbor has even asked me to teach him the art of ORMUS making. (His yard needs help too.)

Below is a section of my front yard about 45 days ago before I applied Santa-Manna.

The picture below is near the flower bed you can see in the first picture and the picture above. As you can see in the picture below; I have green grass growing. Some of you might be thinking that I should have grass growing and that I am just exaggerating. The truth is I could never get much of anything to grow. I would be hoping the weeds would take over just so that I would have something green growing and a reason to mow.

In the picture above you can see that there is new grass from seed growing everywhere.

The pictures below show how my yard has looked for years.

Pretty ugly!

Don’t worry it gets worse

Cars would park on my yard because there wasn’t any grass.

Below you can see more pictures of the recent (May 11, 2009) results from my application of Santa-Manna.

This is now! I took these pictures before I mowed the grass.

This is actually some of the grass that struggled through each year—Pensacola Bahamian.

It is thicker than I have ever seen it.

I have not seen grass like this in over 6 years at least.

Below is a picture of the south side of my house. I could never get grass to grow there. I have bought and tried every “high-dollar” grass seed guaranteed to grow. The problem was they never tested on my unforgiving, sandy soil. Over the past 9 years this area has been the “Avenue of the Dead.” Nothing would grow, until I started using Santa-Manna.

I now have grass growing from the cheapest bag of grass seed I could find. I wasn’t going to go through the entire process again, which I have so many times before. I just raked it and seeded. Then I sprayed my Santa-Manna ORMUS over the seeds and then I covered by raking. That was it. I was done. All I have done has been the watering.

This picture above shows there’s something growing there.

The next picture shows a closer view of the results.

If you look closely you can see the new growth. Taking a picture in this area was difficult due to the amount of shade. The grass doesn’t reveal itself clearly in a large area photo, but close up and with the human eye one can see a solid growth over the entire area. In another month or two this should be filled in and I will provide an update.

The picture above was taken before I applied Santa-Manna OMRUS to the grass.

However, I was already feeding my rosebush and my sago palm with my wash water from my DSS makes.

The picture below was taken today (Monday, May 11, 2009)

As you can see I have grass and a few weeds growing strong.

There is new growth in the areas where there was always sand and you can tell by the greenish tint on the ground.

Below is the front view of the same area.

This February our drain field went out and I had to dig a new using a back hoe.

I tore up the back yard and if you look below you can see the sand where it was put.

All I did was spray it with my Santa-Manna a few times and threw some seeds down.

The bird feeder is a big contributor (I will not spray around that anymore) but, as you can see below there is grass growing.

This is nothing if not next to miraculous.

There are weeds…ORMUS is great for those too but, there is also grass in that there sand.

All I did was mow the yard. I picked up pounds and pounds of sand and leaves. I then raked it with a metal rake. I spread grass seed around and then went over the seeds with the Santa Rosa Sound ORMUS I call “Santa-Manna.” I sprayed it thoroughly making sure I got all the seeds wet. I raked it again to cover the seeds and I watered. I use well water which has a lot of sulfur in it, so there is no trick there. I made a batch about every other week and I applied it generously. I hit the sandy areas the hardest. I have made 3 applications and I have made another for this week.

I don’t know if these pictures will convince you or not but, I am absolutely convinced. If anyone has done what I have done to this yard and seen the horrible results I have experienced; then that person would know there has been something spectacular occurring on this yard and I call it Santa Manna.

For those who are well experienced in this area of ORMUS, I have researched and studied all the water analysis reports and sediments studies for my entire area. I have all the files available for anyone who is interested in them. Though I couldn’t see why anyone would want to read them…they are the most boring reads ever. I can say that having read hundreds of pages and reviewed many charts I am really fortunate to live where I live and have the resources near me I need to make my Santa-Manna. In a nutshell, there are five rivers, The Shoul, The Escambia, Black Water, The Yellow River, and East River feeding three large bays. (There are many bays in my area but, three major bays.) Escambia County Bay, Choctawhatchee Bay, and Holley Bay are the collectors of these river contributors and all of this feeds our natural waterway, “The Santa Rosa Sound.” On both ends of the sound are two passes. These are exits to the Gulf of Mexico. Each pass is about 20 miles away and I live right in the middle of the two.

I can finally say, “The grass is not greener on the other side! It is greener right here.”
